Benjamin & Company is a family-style construction business in Brunswick, Maine. Our specialty is traditional mortise-and-tenon timber framed buildings with an emphasis on energy-efficiency and "green building" practices, however we boast a breadth of experience in many fields of construction. We love a challenge and are constantly looking at new approaches to standard practices. Our primary goal is providing the customer with exceptional quality in both construction and customer service. Ben Hemberger is president of Benjamin & Company. The son of a successful architect, Ben was raised in New England in a family that placed high values on personal relationships and respect. "Observing my father's passion for his work helped shape me into the builder I am today. His focus and commitment to his projects taught me the principles of hard work and fine craftsmanship." While guiding a small business takes many hours at the desk, Ben's enthusiasm for hands-on work doesn’t allow for a day to pass without some time spent behind the hammer or chisel.
