Our design services can bring your project together, as a whole from initial conception to working drawings, or taking existing drawings to custom tailor a timber frame plan to fit. We offer simple drafting services to modern 3D computer modeling to present all the fine details of the project. This is the time to create, design, and plan so that construction can proceed with minimal difficulties.
SUSTAINABLE “GREEN” DESIGN - LEED(Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) has become the preeminent green building rating system, however there are several third party certification programs to follow. We can partner with you to realize your objectives, from the basic goals of energy efficiency to the ambitious plans of LEED certification.
COST - Our hourly design fee is $60. Creating working drawings for a simple timber frame can take as little as 10 hours, whereas a complete set of plans for a distinctive custom home could take 100 hours or more. We can happily provide an estimated cost for getting your project on paper.
Another option is to utilize stock plans for timber frames, houses, barns or other structures you’d like to have built. These designs can often be modified with minimal effort to customize the building to your needs.
